"Sew" Fun!

    Last year my mentor, and great friend, introduced me to monogrammed baby burp cloths and I fell in love with them. John and I don't have any kids but I thought they would be great gifts for friends who are having babies. Below are a few burp cloths I have made so far. Next time I plan to monogram a cloth basket and fill it with necessity items and the burp cloths. I have a couple friends who are pregnant now, and a few more people who are ordering them from me soon, so I would love to hear your ideas for designs/color schemes.

    Ashley, what kind of monogram machine do you have? I have been thinking about investing...but they are so expensive!

    It's a Singer XL 150. It was my grandmothers but she never used it. I only have 2 fonts and can only monogram up to 40mm but it works for the small stuff I do now. Let me know if you end up getting one! :)

    I will..I have a basic brother sewing machine that I'm just now learning the basics on and i love it! I want to do a lot of research before I decide on an upgrade...I've heard the babylock (sp?) is a great machine.
